Finally I got around to doing this. Its something I've wanted to do for several months after being inspired by Jeff Farrel's blog at Superflyinc.com.  I saw his several months ago and realized the value of providing  a flying journal for interested readers in the flying community.  As I hike the ridge, day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year, I contemplate all the conditions that may or may not make that day's flight a spectacular experience.  Then I launch, fly, land, savor, pack and return to my La Salina beach house.  The flight may or may not get  logged, because when you fly so much alone, not many flights are all that important.  However, with the beauty of web, this information can be imparted to assist others in appreciating the conditions that make LA SALINA one of the most exciting flying venues in the western hemisphere. At the time of this writing, I'm sitting in my beach cottage in Cardiff, CA. because its the only time I could force myself to be disciplined enough to accomplish this task.  Alas, now that its begun, I see tremendous potential in providing this blog to every pilot's benefit.  I invite others to submit their flying experiences at La Salina so that we can all share in everyone's adventure.  This blog is cleared for LAUNCH!!!! bajabrent
